Here is Nina ready to come to the school A.N.Z.A.C assembly last week. She was very proudly wearing her Great Grandad's Gallipoli medals (the 3 on the right), and her Grandad's W.W.2 medals(on the left). A very special day for Nina being able to wear these amazing medals.

A.N.Z.A.C Biscuits!
After the special assembly this morning we made some
A.N.Z.A.C biscuits. These were similar to those sent by families to their loved ones in the war. They were originally named Soldier's biscuits but renamed A.N.Z.A.C biscuits after the Gallipoli landings in 1915.

A.N.Z.A.C Learning
This week we have had a big focus on A.N.Z.A.C Day, what it means to us, and how we do on that day that is special. Thanks to the many parents who have trusted us with some special medals, photos, uniforms and their personal family photos. The stories and memories that we share through the generations is a very important part of our history.
Please join us for our special A.N.Z.A.C assembly at 9am tomorrow.
